A lone tree stands sentinel over the start of summer. Wispy chemtrails provide some texture in the sky :-/ About my pictures: Since 2014 I've been documenting the daily, destructive, poisonous chemtrail activity in the Dayton, Ohio area -- home of the notorious Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (visited by every important person on Earth, and even a few Aliens ;-) -- and apparently from my photo and video documentation, Chemtrail Central. Illuminated Manuscript, Cologne Psalter-Hours, Binding, Walters Manuscript W.41, Lower board outside

This Psalter-Hours was made for a Franciscan community in Cologne, Germany, in the late thirteenth century. It is especially notable for its large program of illuminations, which includes roundels in the calendar depicting the labors of the month, two full-page miniatures, fourteen historiated initials, and grotesques perched upon the top of bar borders throughout. It is identical in style to Baltimore, Walters Ms. W.111, and both are related to the style of Liège manuscripts of the 1280s-90s. They are also considered to be stylistic precursors of works by Johannes von Valkenburg, such as two graduals he created for Franciscans in Cologne in 1299 (Cologne, Diözesan Bibliothek Ms. 1B and Bonn, Universitätsbibliothek Ms. 384). All manuscript images and descriptions were created and are provided through Preservation and Access grants awarded to the Walters Art Museum by the National Endowment for the Humanities, 2008-2014. White-faced Saki Monkey The white-faced saki called the Guinean saki and the golden-faced saki, is a species of the New World saki monkey. They can be found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela. This species lives in the understory and lower canopy of the forest, feeding mostly on fruits, nuts, seeds, and insects. Although they are arboreal creatures and are specialists of swinging from tree to tree (brachiation), they are also terrestrial when foraging. White-faced sakis typically live around 14 years in their natural habitat and have been recorded to live up to 36 years in captivity. Sakis are active in the day and sleep highly elevated in trees with many leaves to shelter them from weather and flying predators. A formerly recognized subspecies of this monkey, was elevated to full species status in 2014. Chester Zoo Cheshire 58/365. Bus ticket machine, Viby Torv. What's so special about this, you may ask? Well... it's actually working! Back in 2011 a new citybus network was introduced in Aarhus. Part of that project involved the purchase of several ticket machines, like this one, to be placed at traffical key points in Aarhus. But there was a small problem: the new machines didn't work... something about technical incompatabilities, they said... but they were working on it, and all should soon be solved. Some time passed... the tech guys were still "working on it" and some progress was apparently being made. To prove the point, it was decided to set up the first machine, on Viby Torv (yes, this one), so that the system could undergo the final tests. So Viby got the first machine... hoorah! After a few days of testing, the system crashed completely, and it was back to the drawing board for the techs. Meanwhile, the poor machine just sat there, saying "out of order" Every now and then the media would write about these pesky machines, and ask if they would ever be fixed. And every time the answer would be along the lines of "we hope to have them ready very soon" Well, in february 2014 it finally happened, after a delay of 2½ years, the ticket machine on Viby Torv became operational and soon after the other ones were installed around the city. So if you ever visit Arhus and use one of these machines, remember to appreciate the experience - it was a long and hard birth!. Bus ticket machine, Viby Torv. The Bernina Express is an express train connecting Chur (or Davos) in Switzerland with Poschiavo and Tirano in Italy, by crossing the Swiss Alps from north to south. For most of its journey, the train also passes along and through the World Heritage Site known as the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula / Bernina Landscapes. The train is operated by the Rhaetian Railway company. It is not an "express" in the sense of being a high-speed train, but, rather, in the sense that it provides a one-seat ride for a long duration trip. The Bernina Express itself is composed of panoramic coaches with a piped multi-lingual commentary, and a small supplement and seat reservation are both obligatory. The train is popular with tourists, and connects in Tirano with the Post Bus service via Lake Como in Italy to Lugano in Switzerland. The Albula line and the Bernina line on the Bernina Express route were jointly declared a World Heritage Site in 2008. The trip on the Bernina Express through this World Heritage Site is a 4 hour railway journey across 196 bridges, through 55 tunnels and across the Bernina Pass on the highest point at 2,253 metres in altitude. The entire line is 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) (metre gauge). The Albula line was constructed between 1898 and 1904, and has been operated by the Rhaetian Railway ever since. The Bernina Railway built the Bernina line between 1908-1910, and then operated it independently until the 1940s, when the Rhaetian Railway took it over. It is a part of the Union Square project built on top of Kowloon Station. As of 2014, it is the world's eighth tallest building by height, world's fourth tallest building by number of floors, as well as the tallest building in Hong Kong.
