A perfectly young Simpur leaf with its vascular tissue network called the veins. the colour is usually brownish with a shining surface. it turns dark green after a few days. often the green leaves are commonly used for wrapping foods during the olden days and quite even today. since a lot of things as such have been invented or designed rather more reliable, durable and more practical to use, heavy duty, handy, macro waves, clean, safe and better in shapes. therefore things that were used during the olden days are seldom or not really needed anymore. nevertheless there are materials in nature which are able to resist against the harsh weather phenomena.
